Great Coffee With A Purpose

1776 was my first bag of coffee from Blackout. Was I skeptical; perhaps a bit because a small-batch coffee has always been a little scary to me. First, the facts: I am 74, a USAF Veteran, I like a Dark Roast and I grind my own, almost daily. The first thing I do with a new bag of any coffee is, right after I open it I will normally take 4-5 beans and chew them to get a taste. You can tell almost instantly, the flavor, strength of roast, and the anticipation of the brewed cup.
This 1776 offering had all the right things. The dark flavor was indeed dark, but not too dark as to taste almost burnt. The brewed aroma was smooth, but it was the taste that sealed the deal for me. Some Darks out there are almost brutally dark. But the 1776 was dark but smooth to the pallet, and going down was delightful.
I usually wait on my second cup, but I quickly brewed another and was INCREDIBLY pleased, I had to come here and voice my opinions. I highly recommend the Blackout's 1776. Now off I go to order my second order.

In my opinion, Blackout's 1776 Brew is simply the best. Everyone gives great reviews on coffee's that actually taste bitter and rancid. Not 1776! It's bold flavor wakes you up and makes you smile. What can I say? I'm picky about good, quality coffee. Blackout delivers!
