It's described as a "12 oz." mug...but only if you fill it right to the very tip-top. More like an 8-oz cup. Would be sexier and more bad-ass if it were in a 16-oz size - a size expected around the fire at night or camp in the morning with a bunch of 12 ga.-packin' hunters. Excellent enamel, coloring and design. A little wobbly due to bottom not being flat (but it is now! ;-). Overall good quality, but more like a dainty steel tea cup in terms of size and weight.

Great mug and im not put off by the size. Im usually so busy in the campground it would be cold before I finished.

I totally enjoy drinking a hot beverage from my Patriotic mug.. it needs to be a few more ounces.

I love this cup, although it isn't really being used for drinking coffee. It does however work well for whiskey. Just a thought if you actually wanted to start making that too.

I probably should have read more of the reviews for this mug. It is very nice however, if you drink larger cups of coffee (and add cream) you’re going to need something a bit bigger than this. I really wanted to like this mug but, am going to attempt to return it due to its small size.
