High Quality Flavorful Coffee more of a French Roast

High Quality Flavorful Coffee. The cinnamon flavor comes through well. As a world travelled 23 year Navy veteran and a 30 year Northwest WA resident, I've tasted my share of coffee. Coffee is one of the few pleasures in my life still relevant. My personal taste would prefer a less fine grind and lighter roast. The stuff I got was more of a French dark roast, excessively acidic, almost metallic tasting. People that like Seattle's best, Mcdonalds McCafe or Maxwell house will love this stuff. I'm mixing this stuff 50/50 with Folgers medium roast and plenty of creamer but the acidity still comes through too strong. The acidic aftertaste is stronger than the flavor. Maybe flavor a lighter, less acidic roast.

Not bitter

This is my wife’s favorite flavor. I would place it as my #5 flavor.
This brand is a never bitter coffee, but mocha and chocolate flavors are a bit troublesome for coffee makers to get an actual chocolate flavor, and leave out the bitterness. Somehow they have achieved this with this blend. Highly recommend mixing with a small amount of sweet cream; or cream and a smidge of sugar. In my opinion, this helps to draw out the flavor , to make it more pronounced. However, it is not needed. Unlike other brands, I can actually taste the flavors in this coffee. Maybe my pallet is horrible, but I can usually smell the flavor in the beans; but once brewed, just bitter flavor/brown water.
